I want to track user activity on a page by page basis, but am not sure whether to grab the data via a single pixel image or use javascript. It seems to be that the same data is available to both methods (referring page, user agent, cookie data etc.) - all data will be logged to a database, for later analysis. Can someone tell me the pro's and con's of both methods?
