i am working on a news site currently. I was looking through the weblogs and noticed something weird. found some 20 odd ip addresses (couple of them are google, but rest are obscure corporate addresses) from different locations giving the site considerable number of hits. that is not what i am worried about, though. the number of pageviews from this ip addresses is always equal to the number of hits!

now, i don't run adwords. i just have adsense on my pages. i have considered assuming that these people are probably using our site as their homepage-- but highly unlikely.

any idea what is going on? is this some sort of foul play? or am i just losing users the moment they see the look of my website?
