Goal Funnel and Third Party Payment Gateways Does Google Analytics track goal funnel data through Protx? mattpone msg:3584827 10:23 am on Feb 26, 2008 (gmt 0) I'm trying to use Google Analytics for tracking the purchase funnel on an insurance website.
There are 6 steps on the website, then the customer is sent to Protx to make the online payment and finally is returned to the website to our thank-you.php page...
...is there anyway of tracking the customers who complete the goal (i.e. reach the thank-you.php page) as Google Analytics only shows the first 6 steps until the customer goes to Protx?

I had a similar problem (but didn't have the thank-you page at the end) so I had to use the last page before they left my site as the next best indicator. mattpone msg:3585950 9:39 am on Feb 27, 2008 (gmt 0)
yeah looks like i will have to settle for the last step on the site as the goal too. there is a way to incorporate protx into our website, as long as we have an SSL security certificate for a https url, but not sure whether it will still be a protx page and thus analytics will not be able to track it...i may just admit defeat gratiously!
