Difficult to fake referrals in code. Could be they are spidering you from a third party site via a redirection page on the x-rated site in a naive attempt to generate traffic, but also possible that the x-rated site is using redirected (and possibly momentarily visible) pop-ups to generate revenue as a partner for an unwitting ppc network using non x-rated keywords. If the former is true, you should not see a diversity of IP addresses. If however, you do see many IP addresses the latter is more likely, so, check your ppc campaigns.
