Please help me understand this.
For the same site.
My Analytics stat are(March 1-22):
Average: 11.42 P/V
My AWstat for the same period are:
Unique visitors = 165
Number of visits = 895(5.42 visits/visitor)
Pages = 3106 (3.47 pages/visit)
My main question is how many visitors am I getting.
92 or 165

oh so its the java enabled thing..
Its just a new site I started.

They don't - it's just that these aren't people, they are bots... external bots, hosting company bots, search bots, just other things. I keep on saying that Log files stink for measuring humans.
I wouldn't be surprised if your ftp program counted - how else can it list your files, without making a call to the server?

Anyway so Google Analytics is more accurate.
I know scrapper bots are spidering as this is a small niche and human edited.
They want to steal all my hardwork.
I will find out how to block these people.
