Are you by any chance a Yahoo PPC advertiser? I've been seeing a lot more of these lately and the only connection I can make is that I recently started paid advertising with them. I'm guessing that my ads are running inside Yahoo Mail emails. Could be the case for you as well. I do agree that they seem to be pretty active referrals. Generally 5+ pageviews from those visitors. Couldn't it also be someone has just emailed a link to your site to someone who clicked on it through yahoo webmail?

logicmaze- You could be correct, but in my case it was like someone "flicked a switch" and the timing coincided VERY closely to the start of my Yahoo PPC campaign. Oh, and I do NO email advertising. To afraid of some misguided individual reporting me to the spam cops. Freq---

The same situation - referrers from yahoo.mail and I have no yahoo compaigns... As for e-mailing the link - this referrer was the first I have got. I can't believe, that there could be a person e-mailing the link of the site when it was online only for several hours. Except me, of course, but i did not...

We run analytics on 77 clients sites and we have a ton of yahoo mail refererrals! Especially on Yahoo stores, it's a big community. Yahooers are fanatics and love to communicate with others of their kind. I think it is probably as simple as I stated before, one Yahooer finds the site or finds something new/interesting and emails a link. For those of you who just set up a Yahoo PPC campaign and started getting Yahoo mail references could it be possible that the CSR at Yahoo handling the account liked (or disliked!?!?) Your site and sent it around the office. Hate to be the simple minded one here but I think that is more often than not the case. I could be wrong, it has happened before(one time, back in 1998!)
