| HUge jump in alexa ranking
anybody ever seen a jump like this? is this common? |

I just did an overhaul and my sites alexa ranking went from 2,567,720 to 167,216 in a week. Is this insane or am I just not used to this alexa thing?

Yeah, I installed the toolbar on my own PC and the traffic I created pushed my ranking up about that much. Alexa data can be manipulated real easy.

Traffic greater than 50,000 is meaningless.
Don't worry about it. Get worried, I mean happy, when you move from 10000 to 5000, that's something to noting.
