| Specific Media slow to pay

Hi,
We use AdSense for the majority of the banners we display on our site (vehicle related content, > 1 mil page views/mo.). For many, many years, we have been using Specific Media for our top Leaderboard and a Square (already have 3 AdSense ads/page, so can't use any more AdSense ads).
Since Specific Media bought MySpace, we've had a terrible time getting payment from Specific Media. We have to contact them every month to beg for payment or we never get a check.
1) Is anybody else using Specific Media and having a different experience?
2) Can anybody recommend an alternative that pays > $1 CPM?

There are a lot of networks that offer $1 CPM, what does your website cater to?
