it depends on what type of adult business model your pushing it could be 1/100 or 1/10,000 - depends on niche & business model

I think about you are talking about conversion ratio. I am thinking more about how to make a website (what would be the factors etc) that is gonna have high ration in the future.
I just started reading about it now, but this is something like SEO (optimizing content with keywords for search egnine rankings). CRO - optimzing website in order to get more conversions, after people get to the site. So SEO + CRO (thinks like "Calls to action" -> Buy Now!, Subscribe! Etc)
I guess the question could be: What makes a site convert (for example adult blogs).

sorry yes your correct I was talking conversions -
You need to be building a site around something you enjoy and understand otherwise the surfers will see straight through the site and leave - also micro niche sites are the way forward as you will find it easier to get the traffic along with picking up some linking partners
But your hitting a very hard market with a lot of old timers leaving due to the amount of free "stuff" you can get online. I've been involved within the industry for 12 years and I would say its at its lowest point

I've seen a lot of programs going down, some of them merged into bigger companies to survive, there is some people leaving and some still making money.
I want to start with micro-niche blogs, then try so tgp, and get to the tube sites in the end.
There seem to be a lot of sh**y sites out there on the internet (I would say 90%), and they seem to be the ones that can be found through search engines, and that most people will see etc.
I am about to start and I am wondering if, in the current situation, it would be better to devote a lot of time to work on hight quality blogs (and possibly see no results), or maybe just install 100 tube sites fast, with some banners to dating and cams and try to get it to work this way... (I dont know where that would lead, but that's what a lot of people seem to be doing - Quantity not Quality)

As far as the orgininal topic these could be:
- Calls to action
- Value statements
What else could help make the site convert?

banners don't get clicked on .....content links do
If I was starting out tubes is not a route I would go as thats the route all newbies go down thinking its easy money and and fail ..ask yourself where the traffic is going to come from and why should a SE (g) rank your tube over the thousands of others that go up every day
A very tight micro niche tube "could" succeed but you would have to throw a load of links to get it ranking and ask what makes your tube succeed and understand that niche well
dating works well, thats my market

Can't agree more with tigger. If you don't have some original article, it must be quite hard to raise the coverting ratio. Frankly speeking, I am also comes from dating market. What's more we are now looking for large number of affiliates. It is a well developed company now, dating tips works better, why not try this?

Agree with @tigger. The old fashioned formula I stick to is AIDA - Attention, Interest, Desire, Action!
I've just posted a series of CRO articles on our blog, if this helps. Health Affiliates Network - navigate to blog from homepage.
