Pennsylvania re-interprets Sales Tax law
Will I get an email from Amazon soon?

Well I just got the boot, with an apology, from the Gardener's Supply affiliate program. They cite the following PA tax law "re-interpretation" releases. (See links below.)

I know to date Amazon usually acts quickly in these cases, to remove all related state affiliates, but perhaps they are giving up?

Perhaps Garderner's Supply is just covering their butts, because the state claims they can use records up to 3 years in arrears, to force businesses to collect sales tax. So technically Gardeners would have to collect sales tax for at least three years anyway. Guess I'll have to write my elected officials ...

Coincidentally and amazingly I was just updating and recoding hundreds of Amazon Product links. The amazing part? When I'm done I will only have to comment out one line of javascript to remove all the Amazon ads on all sites. Now that will be worth the effort! (Doesn't pay very well though!)

Talk about getting a big job done: "Just in Time!"

Isn't this what NC tried to do, but got sued for it instead?
