For a Commission Junction Text Link Ad, I'd like to change the text which is clickable (I assume this is called anchor text) to read a bit differently. I plan to use this within the body of an informational article. I simply want to know if this is allowed under the terms of agreement? Thanks much for an informed answer.

No reason why you can't have a "buy this widget now" as opposed to "click here". IIRC you are not allowed to change the tracking link, but you can change the anchor text to fit into your page. This is pretty common practice in the affiliate world to have the anchor text read how you want it to read.

eljefe3, Thanks much. As a follow on question, I'm considering whether or not to insert the word advertisement in parenthases, ie. (advertisement) in non clickable text just after the clickable anchor text, with the hope of establishing/maintaining full credibility with my audience. Is this approach, or something similar, being commonly used. I just want to be careful not to appear in any way as "tricking" my audience.
