|Using an iFrame for Adverts|
Displaying the ad w/o passing juice
I'm running a blog that gets approx 30k visitors/month. I've been approached by some folks who'd like to place their adverts site-wide, but I'm concerned about Google impact.
Some adverts I've been approached with are the size of a 125x125 or 160x160 banner, but contain text with links. Others are .gif or .jpeg images that link off to a site.
I'm curious if placing these adverts on an HMTL page within my domain, then disallowing search engines in the robots.txt for that page & using Meta Robots "noindex, nofollow" would suffice?
Do using iFrames in this manner keep me from endorsing ("link juice") these sites?
Thanks for your thoughts.
