| cj hide tracking link options not working?

this is the first time i've used cj in a few years and i'm running into a few problems with this feature.
in ie, if you hover over a link with the onmouseover features, instead of what you should be getting, you get nothing at all in the bottom of the screen status.
ie, the original link would be site.com/tracking-code-2342342 or something. I want it to display as site.com for onmouseover, but instead it just doesn't display anything.
in firefox it's displaying the full original url-- like site.com/tracking-code-2342342.
are their pieces of code just out of date?
