| Who do I contact to advertise on a popular car site

Automotive site

msg:3927212 | 12:54 pm on Jun 5, 2009 (gmt 0) | I have this car site that is quite popular with a genuine Alexa rank of lower than 50,000. I have a couple of private advertsiers (both are car insurance companies) that advertise in the sidebar, however, I am thinking about creating a banner at the very top of the site (above the site header) for another advertiser and possibly another one somewhere in the contant section (at the bototm of each article). However, I am stumped as to what kind of companies I should contact. I have already successfully solicited 2 insurance advertisers, but I don't really have much of an idea what other type of companies that may want to advertise on the site. Should I go for more insurance avertsiers becaus ethey are obviously keen to advertise on automotive sites? All ideas greatly appricated.

There are affiliate programs for: - auto insurance - auto parts/accessories - car rentals - car shopping comparison sites - satellite radio - car loans etc. You could join their programs or try to contact them directly.
