I received similar emails in the past. They simply want to buy links for SEO purposes and are afraid to reveal their identity.

No. You have to have some idea who you're dealing with, and if they're using your whois contact it might as well be spammers fishing for live addresses.

@chrisv1963 My that website is PR 0 , seems i forget to add that info sorry. @ Rosalind Thats what i thought first, i keep my whois info private and its forwarded to my main email addy. As i thought first which i am sure now by all your input i will not answer that. Thanks all for your answers

If I get any fishy emails for advertising I ask them to pay upfront. They will normally show their true colors at that point.

One should not generalize. In the same way a decent client ( no meds / casinos / debts etc ) had sent a request for a textlink which earns monthly and in advance more than 1/3 of what adsense generates on the entire site. Simply wish, there would be more like them.
