Value Click Media Defaulting to Casale
and vice-versa

This might be a truly stupid question...

I am approved for both Value Click Media and Casale.

I currently random round robin them on my site giving each 50% of my traffic and I am using a different default for both if either one falls below my required eCPM.

So my stupid question is, if I default each one to the other, what would happen if nether had a banner to send?

Would the page not load?

Why wouldn't either one not have a banner to send? Wouldn't they always have something, even if it were crappy?

Most networks use defaults these days. I have Value Click, Casale & Tribal defaulting to various networks. If you default to each other, you are just having the banners redirecting to each other until they timeout since neither would have an ad to show.

Not if you set a minimum CPM.

When this happens, does it slow down your page load time at all?
