I suspect Ashish really needs the same question answered as me: how do we go about choosing one? Once you have a short list you can try them out, but there are so many out there....

I am currently in a neighbouring country to Ashish, but my website targets the UK (although I get a fair amount of US and European traffic as well) so I need a network with a reasonable number of British advertisers and which will accept me given my location.

I have been trying out Bidvertiser. CPC is good but CTR is very low. It is not a contextual ad system and the same ads are shown on most pages.

So it is just like YPN.

There are several different revenue sources you can try. Value Click Media, Burst Media, RealTechNetwork, Casale Media, Kontera, and Kanoodle remind me of a few good choices.

I like the look of Shopzilla's affiliate program, don't they use iframes?

Dear Mika,

I would like to know more about your ad service.

Can you answer me the following questions:
1) Whats the number of days after which payment is been made to a person.
2) What are the requirements for choosing your ad service?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Mika,
We recently communicated regarding Kontera and YPN ads.
What is the actual verdict, can they be published on the same page as well?

From another thread [webmasterworld.com...]
I asked YPN about mixing with other companies on the same page, they shot down everything I asked about (Kontera/Intellitext, Pheedo, Adgenta). Only Amazon, Chitika, and other affiliate programs were allowed - nothing contextual.

Can you please comment that?

Thanks!

Hi Guys,

I have heard that YPN ads cannot be used for a resident outside US, is it true?

Thanks.

Yes it is only available to US publishers at this time.

I am testing out Miva (UK) ads at the moment to see how well they work.

Its not my sites advertising area...but it seems kind of small to me, is this a company that has a history of being honest?
